A Day Away Spa
A Day Away Spa therapists are tired of the assembly-line service offered at many local clinics. Therapeutic massage does not have to be received in a white, generic room, from a therapist who is more concerned with the clock than your knots. We believe our clients deserve our full attention, and a calm, serene environment. We want to provide our clients with a relaxing "day off," a mini-vacation from stress.

Radiance Day Spa at Dana Park
Radiance Medspa in Mesa, Arizona sets itself apart from many other competitors by offering the most contemporary aesthetic medical procedures in a beautiful, soothing and uniquely constructed spa environment, designed to soothe and relax you upon entering a Radiance sanctuary. Radiance Medspa treatment professionals, RN’s and aestheticians working under the MedSpa's Medical Director, provide a standard of treatment designed by our Chief Medical Officer and Board Certified Plastic Surgeon. At Radiance we provide the highest quality standard of care, a wide-range of treatment options in a soothing environment founded on experience, care, and trust. In the end you'll receive the results you have been hoping for and eager to try other treatment options as Radiance becomes a beautiful part of your exciting and new youthful lifestyle.

Year-round attractions in Macon Georgia offer visitors plenty of things to do!

Macon Georgia is one of the great historic cities of the American South and offers an exciting variety of year-round attractions to explore. Experience the romance and charm of antebellum mansions, interactive museums, Civil War sites, Native American and African American cultures, along with tributes to Georgia's music and sports legends. In addition to all this, you'll find several small colleges, including historic Wesleyan University, a thriving business center, and ample opportunities for dining, culture and sporting events.

Start your tour downtown in the historic center of Macon with fabulous Civil War era homes to explore, such as the Cannonball House and Hay House, an extravagant Italian Renaissance Revival mansion that's a definite must-see. Take in interactive history at the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame, where you'll find mementos of famous Georgia athletes like Evander Holyfield and Hank Aaron; or the Georgia Music Hall of Fame, which pays tribute to Georgia musicians of past and present, from Ray Charles and Little Richard to R.E.M. and the B-52s. Experience African American history at the Tubman African American Museum and the Historic Douglass Theatre.

Explore ancient Native American culture at the Ocmulgee National Monument which encompasses 683 acres of preserved archaeological remains dating back 12,000 years. Climb ancient Indian mounds, visit inside a ceremonial earth-lodge, hike along nature trails and study ancient artifacts.

The area surrounding Macon attracts tourists with the sandy beaches and sparkling waters of Lake Tobesofkee Recreation Area, which features 35 miles of pristine shoreline for boating, fishing, camping, swimming, water skiing and picnicking. Just north of Macon you can explore a 140 year old cotton plantation at the Jarrell Plantation Historic Site

Treat yourself to golf in Greater Phoenix, AZ

GOLF IN THE VALLEY - PHOENIX GOLFING IS LIKE NO OTHER

Phoenix's fantastic weather means golfers can expect clear skies, emerald fairways and bustling clubhouses throughout the winter months. They can also expect some spectacular deals on golf packages in Phoenix. Here are a few being offered this month and beyond:

The "Escape!" package at Marriott Desert Ridge Resort and Spa includes a deluxe room, breakfast for two, a golf clinic for two and 18 holes of golf for two at Wildfire Golf Club. The biggest dilemma facing golfers who take advantage of this deal might be choosing which of Wildfire's two courses to play: the Nick Faldo-designed Championship course or the Arnold Palmer-designed Signature course. The price for the package is $449 until Jan. 3.

The Phoenician's "Resort Rituals Package" includes deluxe accommodations, breakfast served in-room or at one of the resort's award-winning restaurants, unlimited golf and use of practice facilities at 27-hole USGA championship links, and a 50-minute spa treatment at The Centre for Well-Being. Rates for the package start at $735 per night from now until Dec. 31.

Westin Kierland Resort, which features 27 holes of desert golf, a covered driving range and the FORE-MAX Golf Training fitness program, has a pair of golf deals on its winter menu. The "Golf with Breakfast" package includes a one-night stay, breakfast for two and a round of golf per person for $659 per night. Plus, kids under 12 golf free. Meanwhile, the "Hit the Links" package is simple: deluxe accommodations for two and a round of golf for each person for $619 a night. Both packages are valid through Dec. 31.

The Hilton Golf Academy at the Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort has started a golf school just for women who feel more comfortable learning the game with other females. The school is a three-day clinic with a Sunday arrival and Thursday-morning departure. The golf academy is held Monday through Wednesday, and during the course of those three days women will learn techniques in full swing, short game and etiquette. Students will spend time on the course each day with the Hilton Golf Academy's teaching professionals for a private playing lesson. Beyond golf, there is a welcome dinner and a farewell dinner, as well as breakfast and lunch each day at the resort. Adidas and Bobby Jones will supply gifts, and the student-to-teacher ratio is never more than 4 to 1. The school will be offered over various dates in January, February and April. Pricing starts as low as $1,799 per person for a double-occupancy room.

The Hilton Golf Academy also wants to help junior golfers, ages 6 to 17, learn the game of golf with affordable lessons at the Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort. The Hilton Golf Academy Junior Golf Camp will show participants the basics of how to play golf, as well as demonstrate how to use different clubs and other golf equipment. Sessions cost $20 per camper and are offered on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 4 to 5 p.m. The student-to-teacher ratio will be no more than 6 to 1, and students will be grouped based on age and ability.

The Sheraton Wild Horse Pass Resort and Spa, which features two 18-hole courses with uncluttered views of the Sierra Estrella Mountains, is offering "No Hassle Golf" through Dec. 31. This deal is tailored for guests who have to leave their caddie, brassie and driving iron at home but still want to enjoy a round of 18. Guests who schedule a tee-time after 3 p.m. pay only $65 per player and receive rental clubs and six Callaway golf balls for free.

Wigwam Golf Resort and Spa, which boasts 54 holes of championship golf - including two courses designed by the legendary Robert Trent Jones - is rolling out three winter specials. The "Legendary Golfer Package" ($249 per night) includes deluxe accommodations, a round of golf per day, unlimited use of practice facilities, and breakfast, lunch and two drinks daily. The "Passionate Golfer Package" ($359) offers the same perks, but golfers can play unlimited rounds on any of the resort's three courses. The "Pamper & Play Package" ($399) is aptly named. In addition to accommodations, a round of golf per day, unlimited use of practice facilities and breakfast, this deal includes a choice of a 50-minute massage, body scrub, manicure and pedicure, or facial at the resort's Red Door Spa. For double-occupancy accommodations the "Pamper & Play" package is $569, and one person can visit the spa while the other plays a round of golf. Rates for all three packages are valid until Jan. 3, 2007.
