There is Disney, of course, but that is not your only kid-friendly option available to you. Across the country, there are tons of events, museums, tours, and other locations that cater to pint-sized visitors. The good news is that many of these travel destinations can be fun for adults as well! Here are the top best kid-friendly vacation destinations you may have overlooked.

The Crayola Factory, Easton, PA

It goes without saying that kids love crayons, paint, and markers. Few people have been to Easton, PA, but if you are heading to the Pocono Mountains, this destination is not a far drive. At the Crayola Factory, interaction is essential to getting the most out of your visit. You will get an up close and personal look at how markers are made, and as you explore the factory, your children (and you) can participate in a number of free interactive art projects. From the research we have done about pet travel and specifically about flying with pets, it seems that most pets are completely safe and unharmed while traveling by airplane.

Still not convinced? Then you should take a look at two great pet air travel websites: Petflight and PetAir. Pet flight is a great site about pet-friendly flights and safe shipping of your pets. It was inspired by a special dog named Brent. Brent and his "pet Dad" discuss how they moved to Hawaii from the USA and they provide invaluable air travel and flight information for flying with pets.
