Traveling Tips?

Ok, I'm 16 and going travelling by myself this summer.
Airplanes, switching flights, getting luggage, and the whole bit
I've only been on an airplane twice before so I'm not that familiar with it and I'll also be going places where I don't speak the language majority.
So does anyone have some tips that could help me get through this relaxed and safely?

I need precious tips on traveling out of the country with 3 kids. Help?

I am going out of the country by airplane with a 9 year old (she'll be just fine), a two year old (energetic, curious,hyper!), a nine month old and my aunt. Has anyone had a similar experience? What should I bring with me and how much? There's a nine hour straight flight in between all this(fortunately this one's at night), and it's a total of 24 hours trip. Ideas anyone?
