Any good travel tips for 1-yr-old? Traveling from PA to CA for 2 weeks. Pls advise?

We could use some advice on traveling with a little one. We will be flying from PA to CA the first week in August. Our biggest concern now is getting her on a decent sleep schedule. We are gradually moving her bedtime up to accommodate the time change. Thanks in advance for your help!

If you are flying overseas, what are some good travel tips?

I am from the United States and will be traveling to England and France this summer. I've never traveled overseas before, so I would like some tips on traveling that far away from home. Any kind of tips, whether it be tips about clearing customs, airplane tips, packing tips, etc., are welcome.
