The music capital of the world is Nashville, Tennessee. It is about 200 miles to the east of Memphis. You can find Jack Daniels distillery, producers of the world’s finest Tennessee Sour Mash Whiskey in a small town of Lynchburg, Tennessee located fifty miles south of Nashville.

The best shopping is in the suburbs

Downtown Memphis is not a busy shopping area, and the shopping selections are in minimum level. Beale Street is the best place to get ample selection of Elvis souvenirs and Blue memorabilia.
